Through the work that I'm doing, I'm realizing that there are two kinds of people; (1) people that view the world as if it is operating on themselves, and (2) people that view themselves as a part of the world that is operating. Inward thinkers versus outward thinkers.

I have personally found that it is difficult to resonate and connect with people that fall into the former. It is much more enjoyable to spend time and work with people that fall into the latter, because these are the people that are curious and willing enough to redesign systems outside of themselves.
